Heerenveen returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 victory over FC Utrecht in Friday night's Eredivisie fixture.
Heerenveen had gone seven games without a victory prior to kick-off, while Utrecht were in similarly poor form following three straight defeats.
The deadlock was broken after just 19 minutes when Oussama Assaidi struck for the hosts at Abe Lenstra Stadion.
Luciano Narsingh made it 2-0 ten minutes later before Bast Dost completed the scoring midway through the second half.
The result lifts Heerenveen to 11th in the standings, two points adrift of Utrecht in eighth.
