Leyton Orient came from behind to earn three points with their fourth home win of the season as Rochdale were beaten 2-1.
Rochdale broke the deadlock late in the first half when Brian Barry-Murphy found unmarked striker Chris O'Grady beyond the far post and he fired low into Orient's net. Orient had posed periodic threats with Rochdale goalkeeper Josh Lillis forced to dive at the feet of striker Alex Revell moments before the visitors went ahead. The Londoners soon drew level when visiting midfielder Nicky Adams upended Dean Cox and Ben Chorley fired home the resulting penalty kick awarded by referee Kevin Wright after 49 minutes. Orient went ahead with a neat move featuring Matt Spring and captain Stephen Dawson split Rochdale's defence and allowed midfielder Cox to race clear and beat keeper Lillis in the 66th minute. Rochdale made three substitutions after 72 minutes and O'Grady might have made more of a chance he lashed wide, while Orient's Revell forced a block by Lillis at the other end.
