New deal for starlet
Marseille star Samir Nasri has ended speculation about his future by signing a contract extension.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League and more recently, French champions Lyon.
Lyon were reportedly ready to offer Hatem Ben Arfa in exchange - but Nasri is now staying put at the Stade Velodrome.
Nasri has penned a three-year deal which now keeps him at the club until 2012 - however the deal includes an option for him to leave at the end of each year.
Meanwhile, Marseille defender Julien Rodriguez has been ruled out for two months.
The 29-year-old stopper has been suffering from an ankle problem for the past few weeks and he has now had surgery on the problem but will be ready for pre-season training.
