Midfielder ready for Blackburn trial
Egyptian star Hosni Abd-Rabou is waiting to fly to England to begin a trial spell with Blackburn.
Rovers are keen to take a closer look at the midfielder - who is currently on loan at Dubai-based outfit Ahli from Ismaili.
Abd-Rabou is now waiting on a decision as to whether he can link-up with Rovers.
"Blackburn offered me a trial but I couldn't fly to England due to commitments with Ahli Dubai," Abd-Rabou told
Al-Hayat TV.
"I'm just waiting for my team's permission to undergo this trial. A Premier League move will be a dream come true."
Blackburn are keen to get Abd-Rabou to Lancashire as soon as possible as there are other teams taking a close look at him, including Hull City
"Hull are a very good team who made a fine impact in the Premier League after sealing promotion," added the 24-year-old.
Deal?
Should Abd-Rabou be allowed to link-up with Blackburn he will join fellow countryman Ahmed Al-Muhammadi - who is already training with the club.
Reports from Egypt also suggest that Rovers are very happy with Al-Muhammadi and will soon enter discussions with his club ENPPI about a permanent deal.
