Young midfielder makes Bundesliga move
Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Poland international Mateusz Klich from Cracovia on a three-year contract.
The 21-year-old midfielder joins the Bundesliga club for £1.3million in a deal that will keep him at the Volkswagen Arena until June 2014.
Klich, who underwent a successful medical at the German outfit earlier this week, admits he is fulfilling a boyhood ambition by joining Wolfsburg.
He told
Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung: "I am very, very happy, it's a dream coming true for me as a player.
"I have joined a top-class club in a top-class division and I will bid to repay the faith shown in me by the club with great performances in the Bundesliga.
"Playing in the Bundesliga, it's a challenge I'm looking forward to."
Klich netted four goals in 27 games for Polish top-flight club Cracovia last season.
His performances earned him a call-up to the Poland national side, and the youngster made his international debut in a friendly match against Argentina earlier this month.
