Lloyd Dyer insists he wants to stay at Leicester City and says there has been no contact from Sheffield Wednesday.
The 28-year-old struggled to hold down a regular first-team place under Sven Goran Eriksson last season and has been linked with a summer move away from the King Power Stadium.
However, Dyer is determined to remain part of the Foxes' plans this season and sees no reason why he should leave the Championship club.
Dyer told the
Leicester Mercury: "I am aware I have been linked with other clubs but, as far as I am concerned, I am a Leicester player and I love it here.

"I don't want to go anywhere. This is my club. I can't see why I would go anywhere else, especially when there are exciting times ahead.
"I have had no contact from Sheffield Wednesday and I wouldn't entertain that either. No-one has approached me.
"I love this club and everyone in my family loves this club. My young son loves this club. Everyone at the club is good to me and the fans are great to me. I don't want to go anywhere."
Dyer signed for the Foxes in 2008 on a free transfer from MK Dons and the winger signed a new four-year contract in September last year.
