Former Barnet goalkeeper Lee Harrison has announced he is to finally hang up his boots in his testimonial match on July 23.

The 39-year-old was three times consecutive player of the year at Barnet, and made more than 320 League appearances in two spells over 11 years for the Bees. Harrison has taken over as assistant manager at Blue Square Premier club Newport County after a season playing at Hayes and Yeading. The Bees legend became a UEFA A qualified coach at the age of 21, and added a UEFA A qualified goalkeeping coach to his CV in May. He will bring down the curtain on his long playing career after running out with the Bees for a final hurrah on Saturday week against a Tottenham Hotspur XI.
