Former City striker poised for big-money switch
Skysports.com understands former Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo is set to join Lokomotiv Moscow from Levante for €10million.
The Ecuador international moved to Eastlands in a £5.2million deal in January 2008 but was unable to force his way into the first-team picture.
Loan spells with Sporting and Malaga followed before the 22-year-old joined Levante on a season-long loan last summer with a view to a permanent deal.
The Spanish side immediately took up that option after Caicedo impressed and weighed in with 14 goals for the Primera Liga club.
But they shelled out just €1million (£868,000) for his services and are now set to make a handsome profit for the powerful forward.
Caicedo has recently been on international duty at the Copa America where he bagged two goals in Ecuador's three games.
