Kovacs makes Bulls exit

Defender Janos Kovacs has left League Two club Hereford and looks set to join Blue Square Bet Premier side Luton Town.

The Hungarian centre-back was placed on the transfer list over the summer but, after a move failed to materialise, he rejoined Luton on loan in mid-September having initially left Kenilworth Road for Edgar Street in 2010. Kovacs has remained with the Blue Square Bet Premier side ever since, making 19 appearances and scoring twice, the most recent of those goals coming in a 5-0 romp at Kettering on New Year's Day. The 26-year-old former Chesterfield and Lincoln defender, whose contract with Hereford was due to expire at the end of this season, now appears likely to sign a permanent deal with the Hatters. His last appearance for the Bulls came as a second-half substitute on the final day of last season.
