Rapid boss open to letting Albanian striker leave

Rapid Vienna manager Peter Schoettel urged Rangers and Celtic to act if they want to sign Albanian striker Hamdi Salihi. Schoettel is unhappy the 27-year-old's 'mind' has not been on the job after being linked with a move to the SPL giants. Rapid's boss is happy with his attacking options and would be willing to part company with Salihi if a bid was forthcoming.

"You can tell his mind has not been on the job and all he is thinking about is his transfer this month," explained Schoettel. "I would not mind at all if he leaves because we have many other options in attack. "But who wants him? Celtic and Rangers have yet to make any request."
