Jankovic pens new deal
Genoa have handed a new contract to midfielder Bosko Jankovic.
The Serbian international's current deal was due to expire at the end of the season.
But after talks he has agreed a new two-and-half-year contract at the Luigi Ferraris.
"I'm very, very happy to continue my career in Genoa," said the 27-year-old, who joined the club from Palermo.
"This club is like a second family for me.
"I wanted to remain here. I'll give my very best in order to get this fantastic club, with such a tradition, to the very top."
He confirmed he rejected a big-money move to Russia, adding: "I had one very nice offer from Russia, but I decided to stay in Italy and to repay to the club who, despite having some difficult injury problems, were very honest with me."
