Sky Sports understands a host of Football League clubs are tracking non-league midfielder Chris Clements.
Former Crewe youngster Clements is currently plying his trade at Northern Premier League First Division side Hednesford Town and he has been earning rave reviews at Keys Park.
Clements came through the ranks at Crewe but left in 2010 after seeing out his contract at Gresty Road and he ended up joining Hednesford.
The 22-year-old has chipped in with 14 goals this season and his performances have attracted interest from clubs higher up the football pyramid.
Championship duo Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest are both thought to have cast an eye over Clements this like, while League Two side Burton Albion are also admirers of the player.
Clements is out of contract at the end of the season and a number of clubs in the Football League and the Conference are waiting in the wings to sign him.
