Conor Townsend will stay with Chesterfield until the end of the season after extending his loan from Hull.
Townsend, who can play in defence or midfield, has made three appearances since joining the Spireites in November. The 19-year-old is now on loan until May 18, making him eligible for any possible play-off matches.
