Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Matt Bloomfield has made his long-awaited return from injury.
A pelvic problem has kept Bloomfield out for the past year but the 29-year-old featured for 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Maidenhead United on Tuesday evening. There was more good news for Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth, who saw Gary Doherty and Matt McClure get 90 minutes under their belts in the 5-0 win. McClure was on the scoresheet along with Lee Angol (2) and Reading loanee Nick Arnold while Wycombe were also helped by an own goal.
