Colchester have signed Everton defender Luke Garbutt on a one-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old, who has not played a senior game for his parent club, enjoyed a successful loan spell with Cheltenham in the 2011/12 campaign. The England under-20 international will provide cover for Ryan Dickson, who is recovering a virus.
