Tranmere have signed utility man Tom Hateley on a four-month deal.
Hateley, who can ply his trade at right-back or in the centre of midfield, had been without a club following his departure from Motherwell in the summer. Rovers boss Ronnie Moore told the club's official website: "I'm really pleased to be able to add Tom to our squad. "He's been with us for a couple of days and he's looked sharp and raring to go. He's strong, uses the ball well and his delivery into the box is good. "He can play right-back or the holding role in midfield so he gives us options in a couple of areas. "There were other League One clubs interested in signing him but he chose to sign for Tranmere."
