League leaders Lyon extended their advantage at the Ligue 1 summit with Nancy only able to draw and Le Mans suffering a shock defeat.
Lyon are now six points clear at the top of the table after Fred's 32nd minute goal was enough to see off
Lille at the Stade de France.
With Bordeaux not in action, Nancy and Le Mans will now have to accept that any faint title hopes they may have retained are now gone after disappointing results.

Cana struck in the seventh minute and Cisse (22) added a second with Benoit Pedretti's late reply for the visitors nothing more than a consolation.
