Young Lions avoid Scotland and big-hitters England's Under-21s will take on Romania in a play-off to earn a place at the UEFA Championships in Denmark. Stuart Pearce's team finished second in Group 9 and qualified as one of the best-placed runners-up, meaning they take on the winners of Group 1. Scotland face Iceland after finishing top of Group 10, earning them a clash against the runners-up of Group 5. The two home nations could have faced each other but a derby date was avoided, as was a clash against any of the big names in the draw. The play-offs are to settle which seven teams will join hosts Denmark at next year's finals, which are being held between 11th and 25th June. England's first leg will be at home, while Scotland travel to Iceland first. The ties are to be held between 8th and 12th October. Full draw: England v Romania Holland v Ukraine Spain v Croatia Switzerland v Sweden Iceland v Scotland Czech Republic v Greece Italy v Belarus
