Westley: Players must learn fast

Manager Graham Westley admits his young Stevenage side are having to grow up fast following their slow start to the season.

Boro have slipped to 20th after Saturday's 4-1 defeat at MK Dons, their third straight loss and fifth game without a win, but Westley is confident they can turn the corner. "We are light on experience and the players have to learn quickly and develop their experience," he said. "Then their strengths as young players can come through. They are learning lessons at tactical, technical and mental levels all the time. "The key is they keep learning the lessons, keep the belief about ourselves, keep the faith in what we are doing and we will get to where we need to. I have no doubt about that - there are a lot of hungry boys there."
