Star striker believes Swedes were superior
Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed England were lucky to win 3-2 in Friday night's Euro 2012 clash in Kiev.
The defeat ends any hope Sweden had of reaching the quarter-finals after losing 2-1 to Ukraine in their opening game.
Ibrahimovic defiantly claims Sweden were superior against England and their performance deserved at least a point.
Better
"I think we were the better team against England. I really do," Ibrahimovic said.
"We should be proud of ourselves because we played a good game. We played the opposite way to the first one.
"We showed more courage and were much better in dead-ball situations. We played just the way we wanted to play."
Sweden surrendered the lead in both group games, at one point leading England 2-1 before Theo Walcott inspired a rally as Roy Hodgson's side nicked the 3-2 win.
"In both the games we have played, we were in the lead, but after 60 minutes, we lost it all," he added.
"Why did we lose both games? I don't know.
"That is something we need to analyse and see what we need to do better, or in a different way."
Sweden have yet to notch a point this tournament and will look to regain some pride in their final clash with Group D leaders France on Tuesday.
