Barker managing expectations

Richie Barker felt the Crawley fans' disappointment following the 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury proves just how far the club have come.

Expectations were high as the Red Devils went into the game on the back of wins against Peterborough and Gillingham, but in the end they needed a second-half goal from Andy Drury to secure a point. "I think the fact we have come away with a 1-1 draw having been a goal down and people being bit flat about it - it's tough to manage those expectations but it actually means we must be doing something right," said Barker. "We are unbeaten in three and picked up seven points so if people are unhappy about it then it shows how far we have come."
