Forrester and Weston grab Notts' goals
Notts County stretched their unbeaten run to eight games as they showed no mercy with a 2-1 win at beleaguered Port Vale.
Jamie Forrester headed County ahead after six minutes when Delroy Facey got on the end of Matt Hamshaw's cross to set him up.
A string of fine saves from Joe Anyon kept Vale in contention before their young defender Luke Prosser equalised three minutes after the break.
County responded however to regain the lead in the 67th minute when from a corner Myles Weston squeezed a powerful shot inside Anyon's near post.
