New Zealander grabs only goal of the game late on
New Zealander Kris Bright scored his first goal of the season for Shrewsbury for a much wanted victory and a much wanted goal in a 1-0 win over Lincoln.
It was Town's first home goal for eight hours and three minutes.
Steven Leslie's cross was turned in from close-range by Bright seven minutes from time - seven minutes away from setting a 124-year-old club record of five goalless home games.
Earlier the woodwork and fine goalkeeping had thwarted both sides. Dave Hibbert's overhead kick thudded against the post - the same post that denied an angled 63rd-minute shot from Matthew Saunders that brushed David Button's fingertips.
Button also saved well from Davide Somma and Steve Lennon while Robert Burch pulled off a blinding one-handed save from Jake Simpson
