Slavia beat Steaua on Champions League debut
Slavia Prague won 2-1 on their UEFA Champions League debut against Steaua Bucharest.
Tuani Belaid's second-half strike gave Slavia all three points in their Group H match.
The hosts had earlier seen a lead given to them by Zdenek Senkerik cancelled out by Dorin Goian's header.
Slavia needed just 13 minutes to open their Champions League account as they took advantage of some slack defending to take the lead.
A deep free-kick went through to Stanislav Vlcek and although his shot was saved by Robinson Zapata, Senkerik was able to finish on the follow-up.
Steaua enjoyed the better of the play in the first-half and got a deserved equaliser through Goian in the 33rd minute.
The defender rose highest at the back post to meet Banel Nicolita's corner and power a downward header beyond Slavia goalkeeper Martin Vaniak.
Slavia's winner came in the 62nd minute when Belaid secured a first victory in the competition for the home side.
Full-back Fratisek Drizdal got forward well down the left and sent in a low cross which fell for Belaid who fired home past Zapata from 12 yards.
