Honours even after late strike from Irishman
Irish youngster Leon McSweeney earned Stockport a deserved share of the spoils as they drew 1-1 with Northampton.
A dismal first half produced few chances, but it was Northampton who went in ahead at the break after Karl Hawley's early strike.
The on-loan striker pounced to fire home a cross from the right from fellow frontman Colin Larkin.
But McSweeney pounced to level 15 minutes from time, firing in from 12 yards following a fine run down the left by Stephen Gleeson.
Northampton almost grabbed a late winner but skipper Chris Doig headed against the crossbar.
