Town made to rue missed chances
An injury-time winner from Lee Barnard kept Southampton's play-off hopes alive with a 1-0 victory over Yeovil.
The Saints had to play over 20 minutes of the second-half with ten men when Morgan Schneiderlin was given a straight red for appearing to punch Gavin Williams.
The visitors dominated early but it was Yeovil who had the better chances and should have taken the lead.
However both Dean Bowditch and Craig Alcock failed to convert their chances for the Glovers as Southampton held on.
The away side were dealt a blow when French midfielder Schneiderlin was given his marching orders just before the 70th minute.
Town were made to rue their host of missed chances when Barnard rose highest to head home a Ndiaye Papa Waigo cross to win it in stoppage time.
