Jack, Arnie and Gary feature heavily in our final selection of PGA Championship facts and figures

Jack Nicklaus has the highest number of top-10 finishes in the PGA Championship with 15 - five more than Tom Watson. Nicklaus and Raymond Floyd share the record for the most halfway cuts made at the PGA with 27 each, while Watson has made it through to the weekend on 25 occasions. Jack Nicklaus also holds the PGA Championship record for the most sub-par rounds with 53, while Tom Watson has 41 and Jay Haas is a surprising third with 37. Gary Player, Jeff Maggert and Nick Price are the only players to have had three rounds of 65 or better at the PGA. Arnold Palmer was the first man to fire four sub-70 rounds at the PGA, but he finished three shots adrift of Bobby Nichols at Columbus in 1964. Tiger Woods was the 16th man to record four rounds in the 60s in the same PGA when he cruised to a five-shot victory at Medinah Country Club in 2006. Keegan Bradley became only the third man in history to win on their major debut when he edged Jason Dufner in a play-off at Atlanta Athletic Club in 2011. He was also the eighth man to lift the PGA Championship title on his first appearance. Bradley and last year's champion Rory McIlroy each pocketed a cheque for $1,445,000. Jim Barnes earned just $500 when he won the inaugural title with a one-hole win over Jock Hutchison in 1916. There have been 13 play-offs since the PGA was switched to stroke-play in 1958. Jack Nicklaus played 9,135 shots in his 37 PGA starts, averaging 71.37 strokes per round.
