Scarlets scored six tries to Ulster's two as they stormed to a convincing 43-17 victory in Saturday's Magner's League action.
Having already qualified for next season's Heineken Cup, the Welsh side were able to relax in their final match of the season despite the absence of the Lions duo Stephen Jones and Matthew Rees.
They scored three tries before the break after full-back Dan Evans opened the the scoring after just one minute and 20 seconds, touching down after collecting his own kick ahead.
Rhys Priestland extended the lead with a penalty after centre Ian Whitten failed to roll away at a ruck, although Niall O'Connor replied shortly afterwards with a drop goal.
But the visitors conceded two tries in the space of four minutes as Scarlets opened up a 22-3 advantage - Dominic Day squeezing over the line before Lee Williams was sent over by Martin Roberts.
The Irish gained some consolation for a poor half before the interval when scrum-half Paul Marshall jinked his way over for a converted try.
O'Connor missed a drop goal attempt shortly after the re-start but once again it was the hosts who scored first when prop Iestyn Thomas made the break for Darren Daniel to secure the bonus point.
A professional foul saw Robbie Diack sin-binned before the hour mark and it was the final nail in the Ulster coffin, with Roberts touching down for the fifth try after good work from Daniel and Nick Reynolds.
And in injury time, the Welsh side put the icing on the cake with a try for captain David Lyons, who scrambled over from close range, before Ulster completed the scoring with a late score from centre Darren Cave.
