A late breakaway try from Manuel Montero helped Argentina to a 23-20 victory over France on Saturday.
Montero sprinted away with two minutes left at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes after Fulgence Ouedraogo was unable to hang onto the ball in the Argentina 22.
Les Bleus had looked set to end their long losing run in Cordoba as they dominated for long periods and opened up 20-13 lead, with five penalties from Morgan Parra and Louis Picamoles' try - the No.8 scoring after Yoann Huget flipped Francois Trinh-Duc's cross-field kick back inside.
However despite losing Tomas Leonardi for a 10-minute spell in the second half to a yellow card, the Pumas refused to give up.
Belisario Agulla crossed for their opening try after intercepting a careless pass from Trinh-Duc, while Felipe Contepomi's three penalties and conversion kept them in touch.
However it was Montero's try, coupled with Contepomi's late conversion, ensured Argentina extended their impressive run against France.
